Event Objective: Through the theme “Lunar New Year,” children will learn that the last day before the new year is “New Year’s Eve,” which is also a day when families gather to have a reunion dinner. This activity will help children understand that the reunion dinner is a meaningful traditional custom in Chinese culture. Therefore, the school will prepare some dishes for the reunion dinner on this day. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy the reunion dinner with the school director, principal, teachers, and classmates, experiencing the joyful and lively atmosphere of the reunion dinner together.

Event Objective: On October 7, 2023, during our “Open House and Chinese Culture Day,” we will arrange various parent-child activities related to Chinese culture. These activities include hand-held bell lion dance, Wing Chun, paper cutting, fun archery, parent-child pitching and lion throwing workshops, calligraphy, sugar blowing, and other traditional Chinese games and foods. This event aims to cultivate children’s appreciation for traditional Chinese culture.

Event Name: Chinese Culture Week
Event Date: July 3-12, 2023
Event Objective: From July 3 to July 12, 2023, our school will hold “Chinese Culture Week” on campus to help students learn about various Chinese cultural activities. Students will create handicrafts related to Chinese culture and collaborate to organize a “Chinese Cultural Art Exhibition” on campus. Through this event, students will deepen their understanding of traditional Chinese instruments like the pipa, traditional top spinning competitions, and ink painting, among other aspects of Chinese traditional culture. Finally, each student will take their crafted pieces home to share with their families.
